Ricky Thomas Ponting (born December 19, 1974, in Launceston, Tasmania) is a professional Australian cricketer and current captain of the Australian cricket team in One Day International, Twenty20 International and Test cricket. Ponting also represents the Tasmanian Tigers in Australian Domestic cricket, a side he plays for intermittently due to international commitments. He is a specialist right-handed batsman, slips and close catching fielder, as well as a very occasional right-arm medium pace bowler.

Ponting is also Australia's leading ODI run-scorer and century maker. He has the second most test centuries ever, behind only Tendulkar. His century against the West Indies in Jaipur at the 1996 Cricket World Cup made him the youngest ever World Cup centurion, and his unbeaten 140 against India in the 2003 Cricket World Cup final was the highest by a captain in a World Cup final. In 2007 Cricket World Cup match against South Africa at St Kitts, Ponting became the first Australian to reach 10,000 runs in ODI Cricket and the 7th in world cricket to achieve this distinction.

Ponting played his junior cricket for Mowbray Cricket Club and attracted attention at an early age. Nicknamed Punter by Shane Warne for his love of greyhound-racing, he left school at 16 to attend the Australian Cricket Academy in Adelaide. After impressing head coach Rod Marsh, Ponting made his Sheffield Shield debut at the age of 17, in the 1992/93 season. He was immediately productive, scoring 782 runs at 46 for the season. He was the youngest Tasmanian to score a first-class century, and the youngest to score centuries in each innings of a match on Australian soil. This put him in contention for selection for the 1993 Ashes tour, and despite being overlooked, he continued his heavy scoring in his second domestic season, scoring 965 at 48.25 to propel the Tasmanians into the Shield final. His form the following year in 1994/95 led to his selection in the Australian XI to play in a four-day match against England, as well as selection for Australia A in the ODI tournament

Brian Charles Lara

The Prince of Port-of-Spain", "The Prince of Trinidad" or simply "The Prince") is a retired record-breaking cricketer, and one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the game. He has topped the Test batting rankings on several occasions and holds two of the most prestigious world records for batting in Tests: highest individual innings and the all-time leading run scorer.[1] He also holds the record for the highest individual score in first-class cricket, with a total of 501* for Warwickshire against Durham at Edgbaston in 1994. Lara played his international career with the West Indies cricket team.

He is the only man to have reclaimed the Test record score, having scored 375 against England in 1994, a record that stood until Matthew Hayden's 380 against Zimbabwe in 2003. His 400 not out also made him the second player after Donald Bradman to score two Test triple-centuries, and the second after Bill Ponsford to score two first-class quadruple-centuries. He has scored nine double centuries in Test cricket, second only to Bradman's twelve. In 1995 Lara in the test match away series against England, Lara scored 3 hundreds in Three consecutive Matches which earned him the Man of the Series award. The Test Series was eventually drawn 2-2. He also holds the record for the highest total number of runs in a Test career, after overtaking Allan Border in an innings of 226 played at Adelaide Oval, Australia in November 2005 .
On 19 April 2007 Lara announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket, indicating that the West Indies vs England match on 21 April 2007 would be his last international appearance.[10] He was run out by Kevin Pietersen after a bad mixup with Marlon Samuels for 18, as England went on to win the match by one wicket.[11]
He announced before the 2007 Cricket World Cup that this would be his last appearance in one day internationals. After his last match, in the post-game presentation interview, he asked the fans, "Did I entertain?", to which he received a resounding "Yes!" from the West Indies fans, after which he went out and took his 'lap of honor' where he met and shook hands with many of the fans. This marked the last time Lara would play actively in the game.
It should be noted that while Lara has gone on record as saying that this would be his last appearance in international cricket, he has also indicated his interest in retaining some involvement in the sport.
On 23 July 2007 Lara agreed to sign for the Indian Cricket League.[12] He is currently the captain of the Mumbai Champs.
Brian Lara volunteered to play for his home team Trinindad during the start of 2008 domestic season. He had not played for Trinidad for the last two years. He made his comeback a memorable one with a match winning hundred over Guyana, followed by a dismissive undefeated half-century in the second innings, scored at over two runs per ball.
In the third round game (Trinidad got a bye in the second round), Brian Lara suffered a fractured arm against the Leeward Islands in St Maarten on Jan 19th.
Brian Lara is not playing in the current season of ICL due to a broken arm. Though it was expected that the arm would heal in 6 weeks, it did not and he is still nursing the injury.

Sachin Tendulkar The Master Blaster..

The Little Master or The Master Blaster,is an Indian cricketer widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket. In 2002, Wisden rated him as the second greatest Test batsman after Sir Donald Bradman, and the greatest One-day international batsman.
He holds several highly regarded batting records and is the leading scorer of centuries in both Test cricket and One-day internationals. He is one of the three batsmen to surpass 11,000 runs in Test cricket, and the first Indian to do so.[7] He is the most prolific run scorer in ODIs by a margin of over 4000 runs and has scored the most runs in international cricket as a whole. He crossed 16,000 runs in ODIs on February 5, 2008 while playing against Sri Lanka in Brisbane, Australia.
At 13, Tendulkar was the best player in the Mumbai schools competition for Under 19s. At 14, Tendulkar made his first-class debut for the Mumbai cricket team and scored a century on debut. He made his international test debut in 1989 against Pakistan in Karachi at age 16. He scored his first international century at just 17.
He is the only cricketer to receive the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, India's highest sporting honour and the only cricketer and one of the first sportsmen (along with Vishwanathan Anand) to receive the Padma Vibhushan (2008), the second highest civilian honour of India. He is the most sponsored player in world cricket and has a huge fan following even amongst foreign audiences. Tendulkar has made numerous commercial ventures including opening a chain of restaurants in India.
Tendulkar attended Sharadashram Vidyamandir (High School), where he began his cricketing career under the guidance of his coach and mentor, Ramakant Achrekar. During his school days, he attended the MRF Pace Foundation to train as a fast bowler, but the fast bowling trainer there, Dennis Lillee, suggested to him to "just focus" on his batting.
When Tendulkar was young, he would practice for hours with his coach. He would often get bored of practicing. So his coach would put a one-Rupee-coin on the top of the stumps. The bowler who dismissed Sachin would get the coin. If Sachin passed the whole session without getting dismissed, the coach would give him the coin. Sachin now considers the 13 coins he won then as his most prized possessions
HIS SEASON in 1988 was extraordinary, scoring a century in every innings he played. He was involved in an unbroken 664-run partnership in a Lord Harris Shield inter-school game in 1988 with friend and team mate Vinod Kambli, who also went on to represent India. The destructive pair reduced one bowler to tears and made the rest of the opposition unwilling to continue the game. Tendulkar scored 326* in this innings and scored over a thousand runs in the tournament.[9] This was a record partnership in any form of cricket, until 2006 when it was broken by two under-13 batsmen in a match held at Hyderabad in India

SACHIN TENDULKAR is the most prolific run scorer in one-day internationals with 16,361 runs and the second highest run scorer in Test matches with 11,782 runs after Brian Lara. He also holds the record of highest number of centuries in both Test (39) and ODI cricket (42). Throughout his career, he has made a strong impact on Indian cricket and was, at one time, the foundation of most of the team's victories. In recognition with his impact on sport in a cricket-loving country like India, Tendulkar has been granted the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Arjuna Award, Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India. He was also elected Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1997 and is ranked by the objective scoring method of the Wisden 100 as the second best test batsman and best ODI batsman of all time.

Mecca masjid

Mecca Masjid is one of the oldest and the biggest mosques located in Hyderabad, India. The mosque is believed to contain sacred relics, one of which is the hair of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The bricks were brought from Holy Mecca, which were built into the central arch and hence the name.

It was built during the reign of Sultan Muhammad Qutb Shah, the 6th Sultan of Hyderabad began building it in 1617 under the supervision of Mir Faizullah Baig and Rangaiah Chowdary. The work continued during the reign of Abdullah Qutub Shah and Tana Shah and was completed in 1694 by the Moghal Emperor Aurangzeb. It took about 8000 masons and 77 years to be completed.The
